The basic principle that the PF wants to give an active and constructive contribution to the TU/e policy practically means that the UC party wants to do more than just checking and agreeing or disagreeing to the plans and decisions of the executive board.

Instead of awaiting the ideas of the executive board, the PF often takes it own plans to the council, like the reports of PF working groups. In the monthly Focus the party gives her political vision, ideas and opinion about present matters on the TU/e.

The party participates in the Health, Safety and Environment Platform (Arbo en Milieu Platform (AMP)) of the TU/e. She also participates in the co-ordination meeting of student associations (Koepeloverleg) in Eindhoven, departmental student meetings and of course UC committees and PF working groups. The party is affiliated with the National Meeting of Parties (Landelijk Overleg Fracties (LOF)). LOF is an independent group in which student parties from almost all Dutch universities meet.
